The Newport Loyalty Day Association would like to announce the 2013 Newport Loyalty Day Pins out and on sale at local businesses. This year the Newport Loyalty Day Pins celebrate with the 2013 theme; "Stars Unlimited, Stripes Inspired ”.
Each Loyalty Day Pin with discount card sells for $5.00. Proceeds from the sale of these Pins go to the Sr. Court scholarship program.
The Sr. Court scholarship program was established in the mid 1970’s. The purpose is to advance the abilities of the Newport Loyalty Day Sr. Court in public speaking, improve their communication skills and to help them become confident and secure as public personalities. Each Sr. Court member is awarded a college scholarship to be used at the college of her choice and has two years in which to use her scholarship.
Each Loyalty Day Pin comes with a merchant discount card listing promotions and specials at the following area businesses. Participating merchants this year include: Artic Circle - Chalet Restaurant and Bakery - Espressgo - Figaro's - The Fruit Chest - Green Gables - La Maison - Mazatlan - McDonalds - Nana's Irish Kitchen - Newport Bay Coffee - Newport Candy Shoppe (Bayfront) - Newport Candy's Ice Cream Parlor - Pig n Pancake - Ocean Blue - SandBar & Grill - Tan Republic - Waves n Moore. Eash of these business has offered a special discount you can only receive with the purchase of a Loyalty Day Pin. Good through out the festival weekend.
The Loyalty Day Pins can also be purchased at JC Market, the Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce and from any one of the 2013 Sr. Court Princesses.
