2010 Schedule of Events

Wednesday April 28^th at 4:30pm - Yaquina Bay Bridge Walk - over the bridge with each person carrying an American Flag. We will be awaiting –The Vietnam Traveling Wall Truck escorted by various motorcycle organizations. As a courtesy the 1000 Flag Vechile may also be attending.

The walk will end right at-The Rogue Nation Warehouse - Brewers on the Bay - will be sponsoring a spaghetti feed - proceeds to assist with the traveling memorials expenses.

12 pm	Annual Newport Loyalty Day Chamber of Commerce Luncheon - Shilo Inn
5 pm	Ceremonies - The Wall w/ Key note speaker Jim Willis, Oregon Veterans Affairs Director - in South Beach

7:30 pm	Loyalty Days Queen's Coronation - Newport Performing Arts Center - Free Admission

8:45 pm	Annual "Reading of the Names" - South Beach

8:00 am	Oregon Coast Corvettes - Charity Event - Gold Motors (574-6822)

11 am -	Davis Show Carnival - South Beach Marina

11:55 am	Coast Hills Running Club "Fun Run" - Parade Route - (contact 265-3506)
12 pm	54th Annual Newport Loyalty Day Parade - Hwy 101

2 pm 4 pm	USCG Station Yaquina Bay Open House -

2 pm-4 pm	USCG Cutter FIR Public Tours - OSU Docks South Beach

4 pm -	Ceremonies - Oregon Honorable Service Medals - South Beach - Ride of Honor at The Wall

12pm -8pm 12 pm	Davis Show Carnival - South Beach Marina Final Ceremonies - Field of Honor - South Beach

Sunday May 2^nd at 12 Noon both memorials will be closed by a small ceremony and Taps will be played.

IMPORTANT......We will need all the volunteers possible to help Roll up the 1000 Flags at 2:00pm before the COASTAL DEW GETS THEM WET........
